Kelptyn's behavior and blood counts have shown some good improvements over the past several days. So we were able to bring Kelptyn home from the hospital again this past Friday night (Day +25). It's so true what "they" say...Home is where the Heart is. Our Love is home and we couldn't be more excited about it. We continue to be grateful and thankful each day for Kelptyn's donor, nurses, doctors, support staff, family, and friends who make every effort on Kelptyn's behalf. His road to healing continues to be full of ups and downs, but for now we can enjoy the simple pleasures of home while following up with doctors twice a week at the hospital clinic. Kelptyn just cut another tooth yesterday and is enjoying lots of cuddles as he continues to deal with medication side effects (constipation, insomnia, roid rage). Despite the challenges our little man faces, we are so blessed to have him home with us and the whole family under one roof at night. :)
