I believe in mind over matter.
I believe in the human spirit to prevail.
I believe in miracles and blessings, both great and small.
I believe in possibilities.
I believe that hurdles in life are meant to be jumped over, not as something to stop us."
I believe in Kelptyn Jack. He gets knocked down again and again, but he continues to rebound stronger each time. He has a small body with a tall spirit and he continues to teach all of us.
The past nine days have been better than the first time around in terms of the transplant and chemo side effects. However, the doctors changed some medications around because Kelptyn had some severe brain swelling on Monday, but it seems to be well controlled now with medication. We think this was occurring for some time post transplant #1 and it just took the doctors awhile to figure it out. Kelptyn is truly one of a kind and a mysterious little man at times.
Kelptyn is just starting to lose his hair again, but hopefully now it will just be minor changes day-by-day until he engrafts the donor cells. So day-by-day we wait, but every day we are grateful.
